Purrbreak Privacy Policy

Last updated: 2026-05-19

Purrbreak collects no personal data.

  • All data (your break history, streak, cat state) is stored locally in chrome.storage.local on your own device.
  • No data is sent to any server.
  • No analytics, no tracking, no third-party scripts.
  • The extension detects whether a browser tab is active so Pixel knows you are working. It does not read page content, URLs, or any other information about the pages you visit.

Permissions explained: storage persists Pixel's state on your device. alarms schedules the recurring break reminder. notifications lets Pixel ping you when a break is due. tabs and the <all_urls> host permission are used only to detect that a tab is active so the hunger timer knows you are working - no page content is read.
